The only relay I can find is the one for the daytime running lights. With the heavy front end damage the driver, passenger and side airbags in my vehicle did not deploy. Refer to the service manual for your specific vehicle for a comprehensive list of tools required for the job. If anyone has any input please let me know. While some cars may require no tools at all, others may require specialized tools to help remove portions of the trim under the hood, or even the bumper and grill. This time even the replacement headlights are not working. Disconnect the wires by unclipping them from the bottom of the headlight bulb housing and pull on it gently to disconnect it. Swapping a low beam bulb can require varying amounts of work. Make sure the clip snaps into place and holds the wiring pigtail firmly. I pulled the fuse covers on both fuse panels only to find out they are not on there either. Or am I missing something? Then get back in your vehicle and turn on your high beams. Remove the bulb from the package using gloves or a tissue. There are some electrical contacts in the assembly which dis-connect the low beams when you put the high beams on. To disconnect it, use a hand or socket wrench of the appropriate size to loosen the nut holding the ground cable onto the negative terminal of the battery. Perhaps the scope of the problem is wider than originally thought. Dealership replaced the speaker and fixed the issue. Connect the wiring to the bulb assembly. I would not have any recourse but to run the car until it cut off but still the keys would be stuck in the ignition.
Fluid was leaking out of my vehicle and the vehicle was not able to be operated post-collision. They are often made of brittle plastic and may break easily. As I understand it the author of the post I was reading had to stumble across this due to no diagrams were found telling him what or where the relay 173 was located or even that it existed. I didn't get any extended coverage on it because everyone says that they are great cars, well unless something is done to fix the issues that they have, they will never get another buy from me or the hundreds of people I know and all the ones that read the reviews. Passenger led headlight ring excessively dim.
Or am I missing something? This issue lowers the headlight visibility the dealer said this is normal and should be corrected after 30 minutes of the lights being on. Wipe the bulb off again with rubbing alcohol if you feel it may have come into contact with your skin, then slide it into the headlight housing. A broken bulb is significantly harder to remove. This has happen twice over the last 6 months. I will try to locate the accident date. No indication on dash learning lights of failure.
The fire department extinguished the fire. It seems like many other vw Jetta owners for 2011-2014 are having this issue. Ensure you pull on the plastic clip and not the wires, as you may accidentally pull them out of the headlight bulb housing, causing your headlights to fail to function. . Court One failed bulb will cause both not to work.
I have been driving over 40 years. If both of your headlights are out, they may have both blown out, or there may be an electrical issue with the vehicle. Both incident are very serious safety concerns. Pull the headlight bulb out of the bulb housing. Halfway through the intersection another vehicle vehicle 2 crossed my path of travel on the right hand passenger side and vehicle 2 driver's side crashed into my front end.
