They said there was corrosion on a traction battery junction. For example, when I say 416, it would recognize it as 016. I can change stations using the controls on the steering wheel, but the change does not show on the display. Also radio buttons don't always work. Had no idea battery would need replacement. Toyota said it was because of burning oil buildup in head. Helpful comments and suggestions are always welcomed.
The driver side visor came off and I have been unable to have it re-attached. I intend to go back to the dealers for a solution. Now they have ordered another replacement radio. Also, the navigation is really bad. The reason for the failure was listed by the dealer as maintenance. I had it repaired at a dealer and the repair cost was very reasonable. The repair has never been 100% back to normal. If an owner experiences a failure of the inverter before the vehicle receives updated software, the dealer will repair or replace the inverter assembly with a new one at no charge. Headlights are not bright enough.
We are not happy with this because this radio was important to our buying decision. The latest new battery has lasted less than 1 month. It can't be used by the passenger.
