The most obvious problem is this: Is there any adaptor that will take the lead that plugs into the right hand side which is not a standard usb lead and plug into the standard micro usb input on the left? There was no power loss, not a temperature raise in the dashboard's needle, not a water nor an oil problem. The blower on my heater started making a horrible racket this morning. Sorry i do not have a solution but as you know how to remove it cant you find a replacement just to confirm the head units not at fault to try.
Hello, thanks for the advice so far. We cannot express how important it is to read the manufacturers instructions that are included with every product you buy and use. As to see if it's the same simple solution My 2013 Ford Focus engine wont start. The manuals often make no sense either - previously had a S reg focus ghia with all extras at the time and sunroof, lovely car but rubbish manual! If the fuse i checked ok,then its radio wiring issue. I'm betting it is burned out. Any of these instructions may void or limit warranties provided by the manufacturers. Not 100% on whether you can update via the visteon hu though. I tried plugging the ipod in via usb cable, it comes up as connected to Ford Audio, but the radio console is not recognising anything and will not play the ipod. Bluetooth is on on both devices, phone is discoverable, it searches and finds Ford Audio, I select it - and no code shows. I then brought a replacment radio and i still have the same problem. I think the instructions are in the zip, copy the files onto the root of a usb stick. Sometimes when people sell a vehicle they will take out what they've installed and not really do a good job covering up the wires they've tapped or reconnecting wires at all sometimes.
I tried the update thanks! I've changed the speed sensor, the battery, the gas pump, I've tuned it but it remains the same. It loses considerable strength, I can see how the needle goes up and down and even hear how the car accelerates by itself. After a while, a battery problem is announced and then an oil one.
